A Day to Remember

This was one of the darkest hours in Hong Kong history. You don't even need to know what is being discussed at the Legislative Council to flare up and protest. When integrity is replaced by interest, reason by greed, communication by manipulation, and when the objective justifies all means, we are doomed.

My world has turned upside down. What can I do?

I am afraid that I do not agree with the adverb "匆匆"通過撥款. The funding application was discussed at the Development Panel of the LegCo on 25 Feb. It was then discussed and supported at the Public Works Subcommittee of the LegCo on 19 March. The application has been discussed at the Finance Committee of the LegCo since 2 May (i.e. totally 7 meetings). Is it really "匆匆"? When only a small portion of the councillors have determined to make use of the grey area of the rules of procedures to stop the funding application from being approved no matter what the cost would be, what should the other councillors do????
